Before your jump, you'll attend a comprehensive training session. This session will cover important safety procedures, how to position your body during the jump, how to deploy the parachute, emergency procedures, and what to expect during the free fall and landing.
You'll be provided with the necessary skydiving gear, which includes a jumpsuit, harness, helmet, altimeter, and goggles. A staff member will help you put on and properly adjust the gear to ensure a secure fit.
Once you're geared up and have completed the training, you'll board the aircraft with your instructor and other jumpers. The aircraft used for skydiving jumps can vary, but they're often small, propeller-driven planes that can quickly ascend to the desired altitude.
When it's your turn, you and your instructor will move to the aircraft's exit point. You'll exit the plane, and the adrenaline-pumping free fall will begin. During the free fall, you'll experience an incredible rush as you plummet toward the ground at high speed.
At a predetermined altitude, your instructor will deploy the parachute. The sudden deceleration will be noticeable, and you'll transition from free fall to a slower, controlled descent under the parachute.
